Welcome to Awaken to Life. I’m excited about sharing with you and others on the awakening path. I am dedicated to awakening, moment by moment, into the greater truth of life. My intention is to offer whatever I can to support you in awakening more and more into love, wisdom and the true power within you.

Let me share a bit of my own journey. While every moment is an opportunity to be awake, certain moments are a call to wake up. At 19, I was in a car accident where I lost consciousness. When I came to, I saw that the car was totaled. Amazed to be alive, I realized that there was much more to life than my limited thoughts had led me to believe. I had barely scratched the surface of life.

I began questioning what life was about and became hungry for deeper meaning. Over the years my spiritual quest has led me to spiritual teachers, shamans, high profile authors, another car accident, powerful inner and outer journeys, and awakened beings. In this quest, I have learned what true power is not, and I am opening more and more to what it is.

As I began experiencing the key to what so many masters teach, I came to see that the awakened state is truly available to us all, to anyone who is willing to let go of their thoughts, opinions and beliefs as being the truth of life. Once I stop believing in thoughts, stop trying to control my life, and let go of resistance to what is happening, the flow of life is free to unfold with elegant mystery and beautiful richness. Awakening to the sacred power of what is here is simple, but it is not easy.

Choosing to feel what is here — rather than buying into comfortable, well-worn patterns of guilt, blame, fear, anger, hurt, unworthiness and separation — calls for commitment. Awakening is choosing to be with what is here, rather than getting lost in thought, and it is choosing to be around others equally committed to being awake. This is not easy in a world of unconscious people, in a world where people are caught up in the fear and the tricks of the thinking mind.

Thankfully, the awesome opportunity for human consciousness to awaken on a collective level is here now. The choice to awaken and evolve is within you and me, moment to moment. Let’s support each other in this choice!
