Serious illness can be one of the biggest crises we encounter in life. If you have a serious, life threatening illness such as cancer, hearing the words “you have cancer” can be frightening and overwhelming. No matter how old or what stage one is at in life, a serious illness can take an emotional toll on the person diagnosed, as well as everyone close to that person.
A serious illness can be a rich opportunity to strengthen the spirit and cultivate a sense of peace. While none of us would consciously choose this kind of major crisis, a health crisis may be the opportunity we need to go beyond the limits we’ve placed on ourselves.
If you have a serious illness or are close to someone who has a serious illness, you are invited to shift fearful thoughts of the unknown into loving, acceptance of what is here and available to you now. You are encouraged to find where you are resisting life, and to identify and question self-limiting thoughts. You are supported to allow a new life to emerge from a deeper level of inner health and well-being.
You are also encouraged to seek medical advice and resources in order to know what your choices are for physical levels of healing. Awaken to Life offers powerful tools for emotional healing, which may contribute to your healing physically. Many doctors will support you in using all the avenues available to you for your healing.
Contact Awaken to Life for a private session, for scheduling Marajen to present at a group session, or for more information.
“I have discovered that living with cancer has some connection with the ability to experience life in the moment and on an immensely joyous level… I am totally free to AWAKEN TO LIFE.”
